Scenes from Macbeth! Macbeth On the 29th of March 2018, Year 5 went to the Windmill Theatre to perform wonderful scenes from Macbeth. This week at White Meadows new additions to Holly Class have been causing a bit of a flap. Ducklings have hatched and this week were taking their first paddle in the water. Already celebrities, the ducklings made an appearance on Radio 4 on Sunday morning. Their quacks were listened to across the land. The Easter holiday will see the ducks finding a new home. They will be missed by all the children.

World Book Day 2018

On March the 9th was World book day, which was fan   tastic. All the children, swapped classes to create projects about the one and only ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!!  We got into groups and planned our stories. In the afternoon, we voted for the best costume and the winner was….. Jayden!!! He received a wonderful certificate. “My favourite part was making a story and dressing up. Back to war! The following week we returned to TLA for a Literacy morning. Year 5, our wonderful year, went to TLA to travel back in time. Our activities were mind blowing. On Monday 26th February 2018 year 5 went to TLA to create some pieces of art on the book called, ‘War horse’ by Michael Morpurgo.  Our fantastic activities were creating an old diary and also making a horse puppet.
