Year 3 and 4 Carol  Concert.

On Tues 19th December,  Years 3 and 4 gave a carol concert in the school grounds. The children had been practising hard every spare minute. They sang beautifully and many adults watched and clapped. There were mince pies too! Mrs Porter, Head of Music, who had organised the concert, said that the children had worked really hard and knew all the words. Katerina from Year 3 said that she had really enjoyed herself. It was a lovely way to end the term.

Year 5 Macbeth Day

This term Year 5 had a Macbeth Day. We wore costumes such as Duncan the King, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth Banquo and the witches. I wore a costume in red with a shield and a sword. It was great fun. We did not do any work! We did drama and art. Ryan Holgate said, ” I enjoyed that we were able to do art and dressing up.” Year 5 had been studying Macbeth. White Meadow’s Got Talent!

In the last week before the Christmas holidays, the children in KS/2 took part in a talent contest, which was a great success. Each class selected an act that would represent their year group. Three judges, including Mrs Misselbrook and two of our Rights Respecting class representatives, judged the entries. Oh, No We Didn’t !

On the 13th of December wonderful KS2 went on a marvelous trip to the one and only, best pantomime to watch- Aladdin! It was fabulous and we enjoyed the songs and the dancers. The characters were persuasive and funny. We learnt some dance moves as well.We all had to boo for Jafar and cheer for Aladdin! Christmas Fair

Magical Fair!!! On December 6th was the Christmas Fair that everyone was looking forward to enjoying. There were many stalls and acts such as singing (which had many amazing singers) and dancers. Happily, we had an awesome raffle stall and a few lucky people had won. You could have won a voucher for some interesting stuff and you could also have won a trip to a hair salon.
