This term children at White Meadows went on a trip to the Forest School. We had many amazing activities such as climbing trees, building shelters and fire lighting. Most children were competing all week to see who could make the best shelter, however we still haven’t found out the winner. Climbing trees was also a fun activity because we had a look for who could climb the highest.
“My favourite part of the day was building shelters. In my opinion I think mine was the best! I also did the fire lighting and it took me 5 strikes to light it,” said Brandon.
At the end of the trip, we sang a cheerful song (Baby Shark) and enjoyed drinking hot chocolate or squash with biscuits. Hopefully we will visit again.
