In the last week before the Christmas holidays, the children in KS/2 took part in a talent contest, which was a great success. Each class selected an act that would represent their year group.
Three judges, including Mrs Misselbrook and two of our Rights Respecting class representatives, judged the entries.
We had singers, magic acts, acrobats, artists, hula hoopers and dancers.

It was a tremendously exciting event.IMG_0155
The winner was Maya Graham from Year 6, Oak Class. When interviewed for our article she said, ‘I felt nervous at first, but then when I started singing, I felt comfortable’
In second place was Ryan Holgate, ( Year 5) whose magic act wowed the audience. He said that he had felt nervous but was happy to come second. In third place was Promise Sanderson, also from Year 5. When interviewed, Promise said, ‘ I was very excited to come third as I didn’t expect to get that far.’IMG_0156
Overall, it was a fabulous event and we are looking forward to next year. Get practising!
